Lasting Lipstick Lip Color

LipSense, a lipstick lip color that claims to be long lasting that won't come off when you eat, drink or kiss. Is it the real deal or just more cosmetics hype? We've all been there. We've bought the latest and greatest designed to separate you from your money but it only adds another tube of lipstick to the bottom of your bathroom drawer.

For most women, cosmetics and lipstick are a regular part of their morning routine. What LipSense is claiming is to put and end to the day long routine of touchup and dry lips. Worse yet is when your lipstick comes off on anything your lips touch. Not a pretty sight with lipstick on your coffee cup, water bottle and everything your lips come in contact with-and now you have to reapply and touchup.

LipSense from SeneGence claims their lip color won't come off until you're ready to remove it. It won't come off, they claim, on coffee cups and you can kiss without leaving a tell tale mark. Better yet, you won't be touching up your lipstick every few hours, keeping you looking beautiful without added effort.

Recently I asked two friends to see if this lip color could do what it promised. The LipSense comes in a tube, the lip gloss (we used the glossey gloss) also in a tube and an Oops remover (in case you make a slip-up and have to quickly fix the mistake).

Judy picked a flattering rose color from over 40 choices, and Stephanie went a bit wild with a brighter red. After applying the lip color and gloss they both kissed the back of their hands. Only some of the clear gloss came off. Very impressive.

They tried a cup of coffee, ate a meal-even wiped their lips with a napkin. It stayed on.
Stephanie wanted to remove the bright red and learned it wasn't coming off without some serious effort. After trying several methods she found a glycerin based soap worked best. She said "based on the effort to remove the lip color normal wear should result in it lasting a long time."

Both wore lipstick on a regular basis and were excited about using the lip color and not having the hassle of reapplying several times a day.

If you're touching up your lipstick several times a day, LipSense may be the answer. In addition the shea butter based lip gloss is an extra bonus. No more dry and chapped lips.

The long lasting LipSense lip color and the moisturizing shea butter based lip gloss could be an unbeatable beauty combination.
